The method of potato production in tyres, is really easy.
Upon emergence place another tyre on top of the original two and cover with more compost & water well, wait until stem appears again and repeat process up to 3 times. This encourages tuber numbers and increases yield. At harvest you will have an excellent crop of your very own potatoes. |

Collect 5-6 old car tyres, fill up 2 of these with compost (or garden soil / manure) place the seed tubers 2-3 per tyre, at a depth of 6 inches. Water well and wait until the seed emerges.
